French Toast

Cooking for a family or not, most of us are on a budget and don't have a lot of time to spend cooking.
Here is my version of a healthier French Toast breakfast on an everyday budget.
French Toast
8 Egg whites
1/2 cup Fat Free Skim Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
Fat Free Yogurt
Whole Wheat Bread Slices
Heat a frying pan or pancake griddle to medium heat.
Beat egg whites, milk, vanilla, and ground cinnamon in a bowl.
Dip slices of whole wheat bread in the egg mixture, coating each side. Cook the french toast until golden brown on each side, about 2 minutes on each side.
Top the french toast with fat free yogurt and serve with fruit.
Applesauce also makes a nice topping that the children all love.
I like to save the egg yokes to make scrambled eggs for my children.
Your family will love this one!
